What too feed a opossum ?

My son found this critter in the drive . I has its eyes open makes noises %26amp; washes itself. I didn't know what too feed it so I gave it warm milk (pasturized) and had my son catch flies to feed it. What does it need besides holdind my finger when I give it milk .What too feed a opossum ?
Many possums have invaded my garage to eat dry dog food. If it's still a baby and you want to keep it alive, try mixing a canned food with the milk at first. When you're ready to stop feeding it, call the local Animal Control officer or your County Extension office. Please remember that it's wild, so it will be riddled with parasites. If it looks like its teeth are fully grown in, try a mixture of wet %26amp; dry catfood. This would be an appropriate diet to keep it on afterwards.
Try canned cat food or warm milk in a small bowl.
possoms are omnivores insects are good but some fruit will help for vitamins and minerals.
