Is it legal to own a Short-tailed opossum in VA?

I know a lot of animals are illegal in VA so I wanted to check. I went here http://www.helenslittlecritters.com/index_files/ShortTailedOpossums.htm it is in texas so they are legal to own there. Any help is greatfully appreciated.Is it legal to own a Short-tailed opossum in VA?

While I cannot find the Short tailed opossum listed on the web site of animals banned or prohibited, I suspect you will need a permit in Virginia.
