I have had an opossum living amgonst a semi-feral cat colony for a month. Are there any pesticides that could be chosen for the safety of the cats that would/could harm an opossum?Pesticides that won't harm opossum ?

Anything that wont hurt you, wont hurt that critter.
Is it a tamed opossum?
If you live on the coast where sea water is plenty take it for a swim. If not take the sand and let it play in that.
You will notice that the desert does not have fleas. People bring fleas to the desert.
Wild critters leave alone. They are not pets. Our dogs, cats,horses,birds do not have fleas.
